Pointe Michel Hold Off Bonney Hat Trick to Claim Exciting Win

Pointe Michel emerged victorious in a pulsating encounter against Middleham United FC, claiming a 4 – 3 win in an action-packed contest at the DFA Technical Centre.

The match got off to a flying start when Kyle Delsol opened the scoring for Pointe Michel in the 4th minute. However, Middleham United responded quickly through Marcellus Bonney, who found the back of the net in the 10th minute to level the score.

Just two minutes later, Donte Warrington restored Pointe Michel’s advantage with a well-taken finish in the 12th minute. Delsol then struck again deep into first-half stoppage time (45+5′) to give his side a 3 – 1 lead heading into the break.

Despite facing a two-goal deficit, Middleham United refused to back down. Bonney completed his brace from the penalty spot in the 73rd minute before securing his hat trick with another goal in the 82nd minute, bringing his team level at 3-3 and setting up a dramatic finale.

With the match seemingly headed for a draw, Warrington delivered the decisive moment in stoppage time, scoring his second goal of the evening in the 90+1 minute to seal all three points for Pointe Michel.

While Bonney’s hat trick was a standout individual performance for Middleham United, it was Warrington who earned Player of the Match honors after an influential display that included a match-winning brace.
